Guys, I need you to pray.

I got an email last night saying that our little guy
is in the hospital and just had surgery
for something we had no idea
was an issue with him.

We don't have a lot of details but
it sounds like it's relatively minor..but he still remains
in the hospital...without Mama and Baba.
I can't stand that.
So I'm trusting the Lord to take care of Him.
But my frustration is mounting that our TA is still,
well, who knows where.

Thank you for praying.
It makes all the difference.

  1. I just know God is healing him, so he will be well & healthy to travel when Baba comes to get him. He just needed a little bit more time.

Sorry, though...what a shock! I know it must be frustrating not to have the info you want.

  4. Oh Lori...I am so sorry. I know your Mama heart is hurting and longing to be there with him.

I know that the TA delay is so frustrating. We have had that happen in the past--and EACH time, in hindsight, we could see why God delayed us. It was always for a purpose. God doesn't waste our pain.

When SaraGrace was still in China, she had open heart surgery in Singapore. I soooooo wanted to go--and I could have. She was out of China, so the officials couldn't have stopped me. I had a free ticket with FF miles. But God didn't give me permission to go. So I stayed home and hovered over the computer for weeks as she got sick...surgery delayed...she recovered...had surgery...was in PICU...etc. God sustained us and I know He will do that same miracle for you. I also know that He is right beside your sweet boy and is meeting his needs. God allowed the surgery to take place before K-Man could come for him. He has a reason. Try to trust and rest. <3 I know...easier said than done. Praying for you all.

  6. Oh Lori...I am so sorry. I know how your heart hurts for your son right now. I can't imagine not being there for one of my children's surgeries. At least when they have surgery before we know about them it is different. I am lifting you and Isaiah up in prayer. And you are right that the Lord will take care of him. He loves Isaiah even more than you do. Perhaps He has made sure a special nanny is with him...loving on him and comforting him. I REALLY REALLY hope your TA comes TODAY!!!!! Praying my friend.

  29. Absolutely praying. We got the dreaded message twice that our children in China had been hospitalized for their hearts.

It is beyond difficult. I am so sorry.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
