mandatory tea parties

I wish you guys could be a fly on the wall
when Lucy has Macy trapped in
their bedroom to play.
-Or-
You could just join me in my bedroom to
spy listen in on the baby monitor.

It's quite comical.
But poor Macy.
She's just not assertive enough (yet) to
physically push her way out
and escape the mandatory tea parties that Lucy hosts.

Don't worry...I do rescue missions quite often.

And it finally came to my attention,
just last night,
that Lucy had no idea that Macy doesn't
speak (much) English.

That's what happens when one does
99% of the talking.

  3. LOL I bet mandatory tea parties happen a lot between siblings when one of them is an adorable little china doll! How could she resist.
I wonder if Macy sees anything of herself when she was little in Lucy.

  4. Too funny!! Sounds like you have quite the chatterbox, she and Abby, who can talk your ear off, would make quite a pair!

  6. That is so funny!!! Jaden is very much
    into her tea parties.
She is a chatterbox and she will get
very upset if you don't respond
    immediately. Poor Piper hasn't a
clue of what she is in for.

  10. I have been checking in as of late - Kelly R. told me that Macy had made it home. I love hearing how things are going & have been praying for you as you adjust. I am sure it is a different experience bringing an older child home, but over time the awkwardness lessens. So glad that Lucy is engaging her - at least in tea parties:) I truly would love to get together. Our life feels really full, but it is always great to connect with other adoptive families.

    Take care!!
